Recipe | Karan (Moroccan/Algerian fast food)

Karan (in Morocco), or Karantita (in Algeria) is a street food that I personally know from North-Eastern part of Morocco (Oujda), but it's available also in Northern parts (Tanger area). Nowhere else in Morocco. You can also find it in the streets of Algeria, but I'm not sure if in the whole Algeria, or only Western areas.
People make it also at home, so did I.

What you'll need?
- 0,5 kg of chickpea powder (ground dried chickpeas)
- 1,5 liters of water
- 1 glass of oil
- 1 egg
- salt (as much as you like)

1. Chickpea powder

2. Adding water

3. Adding oil

4. Adding an egg and salt

5. Mixing

6. Poured everything to a baking tin and put everything to the oven set to 200 Centigrades for around 30 mins

7. Done and ready to eat! It's fast to make and believe me, veryyyyy tasty!

In Morocco, they serve it in bread. I had it in a roll. :)
You can add also powdered cumin on top. It's very delicious!!!

  13. Looks delicious! Never heard baout it tough!

I use Great Lash Clear for my brows, and it does the job. Otherwise, that would be a pretty useless mascara (who use clear mascara for lashes, anyway?)
