A Quick Note From a Dentist

OK, so I wear braces. Last time when I went to my orthdontist (a dentist who has been specially trained to do orthodontics) I asked him about discoloration of teeth and stuff. I'm obessed with a perfect smile ;)
So as we all know it's caused by different kinds of food, coffee, red wine and tea. And he told me that especially green tea makes most of discolorations out of all teas... :(
What a bummer. I love green tea!!!
I'm still gonna drink it though :)

If you're a tea lover as myself I thought you should know.

    Bummer...
    One of my good friends had braces and she loved to drink dark sodas but that causes discoloration too :P
    So she would still drink it but through a straw :P so as little of it will touch her teeth ;)
    I thought that was pretty smart! :P

    I'm obsessed with a perfect smile too and I absolutely love green tea. No way am I going to give it up! That sucks though, drinking it knowing it can cause discoloration? LOL.

    i use straws a lot too, but that wud be difficult with hot tea. ask the toothfairy(notes from the toothfairy) lol
    i'll look i promise, but its not very certain that i'll find it though. i've only seen a pink squarish miu miu around. these days i see moe jimmy choos n pradas. shopping is really random over here. we dnt have any official outlets. so sometimes its just extras from the factories that comes to the shops. if you find exactly what you're looking for then you're really really lucky
    but if i see yours i'll snap it up in a sce, dnt worry :)

    haha, it's true, but if you don't drink crazy amounts of it each day, I think you'll be fine! just make sure you brush your teeth day and night. I drink tea (green as well) everyday!

    I drink it everyday too. I think I'm going to start using straws cuz it seems like a good idea :)

    my sis has green tea too.. my dissagreement. is whats the point.. its not strong enough.. doesnt keep you awake,. none of that tea like thing.. and it taastes kinda weird. i do have that chai-stain.. i guess its a health thing.. i think i'll use straws too.. you ladies are smart.. can't ruin my award winning smile :P

    aww, i love green tea. but i don't drink it everyday though.
    I'm using Burt's Bees lip balm and love it so much :) i'll try Blistex next time!
